This week we announced over 600 sessions covering the latest advances in technology and productivity across multiple industries. You’ll find multiple session formats, with different ways to discover how Trimble innovation is transforming the way you work. Choose from expert panel discussions, hands-on training, computer labs, and classroom presentations. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be calling out a few of the sessions for Survey and Mapping.
Chris Trevillian, our super star Optical, Imaging and 3D Scanning Solutions Market Manager called out a few he’s excited to attend in no particular order:
[GEO-1535] Trimble SX10: What do I do with all this data?
Tuesday, Nov 06, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Lido 3104
We have an all-star panel of six Trimble and industry experts joining us for this important and highly relevant topic.
[GEO-1686] Interactive Visualization of Terrestrial Laser Scanning Uncertainty
Monday, Nov 05, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. | Lido 3001A
Matthew O'Banion, Assistant Professor, United States Military Academy - West Point will provide a detailed understanding of how laser scanning-derived three-dimensional (3D) point cloud uncertainty can lead to improved scan planning and execution. This session will provide a brief overview of terrestrial laser scanning point cloud uncertainty propagation and examine results for 3D point cloud data captured with a Trimble SX10 Scanning Total Station.
[GEO1259] Successful implementation of technology on the A14 Improvement Scheme
Wednesday, Nov 07, 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. | Lido 3001
New technologies are disrupting the geospatial industry, enhancing productivity and adding new dimensions to the value of geo-information. However, it is the implementation of this technology that often determines whether or not an initiative is successful. For Mark Lawton from Skanska UK and a member of the A14 Integrated Delivery Team, the policy is to balance tried and tested technologies with new ways of working. The A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme is providing a perfect backdrop to this approach. This presentation will include how the A14 team uses their traditional GNSS (various correction services) and total station equipment as well as newer hardware such as the SX10 in a variety of different applications. The presentation will also look at software, style sheets and neat methods to save time and speed delivery.
[GEO-1178] How to take advantage of combined technology, Trimble SX10 and Trimble R10, in large scale survey projects.
Monday, Nov 05, 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. | Lido 3006
Join Annalena Hellstrom and Bridget Coulter from ÅF Infrastructure AB to talk about overcoming safety and data collection concerns and minimizing field trips in a large scale Swedish Road Administration project using a Trimble R10 and SX10 combination.
