You need a Trimble® Catalyst subscription plan of your choice, a Trimble DA2 Catalyst GNSS receiver, an Android™ or iOS handheld with a suitable app like Trimble TerraFlex® or Esri® ArcGIS® Field Maps, and an appropriate mounting option like a handle, backpack or pole. Your distributor can help you with the options.

Trimble Catalyst subscriptions are licensed "per user" for use on one device at a time. Your subscription cannot be used on multiple devices simultaneously. Access to your subscription is managed through a secure license file which is stored on your iOS or Android device. To transfer a license file from one device to another, sign-out from the first device before signing-in on the second device. You can use your subscription on any Trimble DA2 receiver.

When you purchase Trimble Catalyst for a group of users, the purchaser can assign individual subscriptions to other users in your team, remove users, or re-assign subscriptions from one user to another user within your team using the Trimble License Manager. GNSS signals from satellites such as the GPS satellites require additional correction data to be reliably accurate. TCH takes care of that automatically and is included with your Catalyst subscription so you don’t have to worry about configuring a corrections service. TCH uses different terrestrial and satellite based correction services, and automatically selects whatever works for you based on your location. Advanced users can also use their own corrections service.

For annual or monthly subscriptions you can choose the accuracy level that suits your workflow, then purchase a subscription for the number of months or years and users you require.

Catalyst On-Demand is purchased in blocks of “hours”. On-Demand users drawdown time in 1-hour increments. On-Demand packs are available in blocks from 10 hours/year up to 25,000 hours/year. You can purchase packs in any quantity you need. Catalyst On-Demand is only available for the Catalyst 1 precision level.
