Better connectivity, performance and remote capabilities

The R750 Model 2 introduces several enhancements to improve performance and remote operations, so you receive reliable and precise positioning in the field. The addition of navigation message authentication (NMA) checks the received satellite signal and confirms that no jamming or spoofing has been received. This provides another layer of protection, giving you confidence that what you measure is, in fact, the right position.

A notable feature is the dual-band radio, which supports 450 and 900 MHz UHF frequencies, improving communications and providing reliable data transmission in varied environments. Additionally, the 4G LTE modem has been upgraded, further boosting connectivity.

Enhanced accuracy and a reliable base station

By adding a second Trimble Maxwell™ 7 chipset, the number of tracking channels has doubled from 336 to 672. This supports all GNSS constellations, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS, along with all available signals. As a result, it delivers highly accurate positioning, reducing errors and minimizing the need for rework.

The R750 Model 2 is an ideal base station for Trimble GNSS rovers. With an integrated 4G LTE modem, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ethernet, this seamless communication setup allows it to broadcast RTK corrections via the internet using the Trimble Internet Base Station Service (IBSS), minimizing downtime and providing continuous data flow.

When used as a rover, for example, in natural resource exploration via a vehicle-mounted system, the R750 Model 2’s Trimble ProPoint® GNSS positioning engine provides superior accuracy, reliability and productivity, especially in challenging GNSS environments. Trimble xFill® technology enables continuous operation with survey precision for up to five minutes if the primary correction source connection is lost, helping prevent work interruptions.

User-friendly and flexible

The front panel features a USB-C connector for firmware updates via Trimble Installation Manager and USB-C PD (power delivery) charging to extend operating time in the field. The large, slanted display and QR code provide easy access to receiver information and settings.

The R750 Model 2 is built to be scalable, so you can purchase only the features you want now and upgrade capabilities over time as your requirements change. This future-proof investment ensures the receiver remains a valuable asset as your needs evolve.

Precise measurements for diverse applications

The R750 Model 2 provides precise measurements for land, seismic, geodetic, mine and pipeline surveying. It ensures accurate construction site layouts and provides reliable data for natural resource exploration and crustal movement monitoring. Additionally, its remote management capabilities let you to monitor performance, check status and configure settings, reducing downtime and unnecessary travel costs.

Market-leading advantages

The R750 Model 2 stands out with its Trimble IonoGuard™ technology, which, in conjunction with ProPoint, enhances reliability by mitigating the effects of solar activity on GNSS signals. Using the Trimble CenterPoint® RTX correction service, the receiver provides RTK-level precision globally via satellite or internet, with an initial 12-month subscription included at no cost at purchase.
