need was felt for a better
management of land records
with a view to minimize scope
and settlement records including
creation of original cadastral records
wherever necessary, computerization
of registration and its integration
with the land records maintenance
system, development of core
Geospatial Information System (GIS)
and capacity building.
On the same lines as the NLRMP, the
Govt of Rajasthan launched the
Digital India Land Records
Management Programme (DILRMP )
in January 2016 to fulfil these aims
with its operations on Survey/Re-
Survey and updation of Survey and
Settlement Records.
With the implementation of new technology, a new era will be ushered regarding
the knowledge and delineation of boundaries, whether they are the individual
parcel or the collective types of administrative boundaries.
