The following graph illustrates the existing relationship between pixel size and distance for the 360° spherical
camera and the planar camera. The resulting linear correlation once more is a consequence of the existing
different focal length between the two cameras, which is double on planar cameras compared to the
spherical camera. This explains the double resolution available from the planar cameras.
