What's New in TerraFlex and Terra Office

Hamish MacMillan and Matt Morris from the Trimble MGIS Product Team talk about the exciting new features and enhancements now available in Trimble® TerraFlex® v5.10 and Trimble Terra™ Office.

External Sensor Integration
New in this update is the ability to connect an external Bluetooth® sensor to TerraFlex and store measurement outputs from the sensor directly to your forms, eliminating the need for manual data entry. In this update the following external sensors are supported:

  • Radiodetection RD8100 and RD8200 utility locators
  • Vivax Metrotech vLoc3 Pro utility locator
  • LTI TruPulse® 200 and 360° series laser rangefinders

Trimble TIP technology
Also in this update, TerraFlex enables users to utilize Trimble TIP™ tilt compensation technology when working with Trimble R12i or Trimble R780 GNSS receivers.

Introducing the Terra Office Exporter
The new Terra Office Exporter app extends the existing export functionality in the Trimble Connect Map Viewer to export data captured using TerraFlex to a variety of CAD and GIS file formats—all from the convenience of the desktop.
