TBC Does That #8: Import Data with Drag-and-Drop
What TBC does:
TBC includes templates with default settings to facilitate dragging and dropping data files into any project. All files created during the collection of points, images, vectors, and observations in the field can be placed together in a TBC project. TBC 5.0 added the capability to drag and drop high-precision PPK photogrammetry data captured by Delair’s UX11 drones in January 2019.
How this helps you:
Default settings streamline the process of combining files in your project, although you also have the option to specify your own settings in the Import command pane. Drag-and-drop functionality makes it easier for you to integrate data captured by a variety of sensors and use one application to produce the required deliverables.
How it works:
You can import data by selecting and dragging multiple files into a TBC data view from your desktop, Windows Explorer, or the Import command pane's file list. When a .jxl file is brought into TBC, everything comes along with no additional work required. Although particularly well-suited for data from the Trimble family of products, the drag-and-drop functionality works with other types of data as well.
Pro tip: Raw data is retained in case verification is needed.
