Aerial imagery project workflow improvements

  • MATCH-AT: Now with new Trimble RealRay technology, a sophisticated mathematical model designed to precisely estimate and correct image distortions caused by factors such as atmospheric refraction, mapping projection and geoid impacts
  • MATCH-T DSM / MATCH-3DX: More comprehensive LAS and LAZ file support means that Point Data Record Format (PDRF) and ExtraBytes are supported throughout the complete workflow
  • MATCH-3DX: Improved reconstruction of thin structures such as power lines, railings and masts. Mesh conversion processes are enhanced by the delivery of an optimized color adjustment as well as the faster conversion speed of mesh for optimized processing.

MATCH-AT and the new Trimble RealRay technology

The new version includes the introduction of the groundbreaking RealRay technology in MATCH-AT. This update represents a significant leap forward in aero triangulation software, delivering unprecedented precision by significantly reducing errors caused by environmental factors.

The introduction of the "precise" correction mode elevates camera calibration and georeferencing to unparalleled levels of accuracy, ensuring superior quality in all imaging projects. Furthermore, the streamlined workflow in MATCH-AT v15.0 simplifies complex processes, allowing users to achieve optimal results more efficiently, ultimately enhancing overall productivity. By continuously integrating the latest advancements, MATCH-AT keeps users equipped to tackle future challenges in aerial surveying with confidence.

MATCH-AT v15.0 offers leading-edge technology, capable of processing various block scenarios with unmatched precision. Highly versatile in many project conditions, including high elevation flights, multi-head-systems, oblique flights and challenging mountainous terrain, MATCH-AT delivers consistent and reliable results across any project, with particular precision in coordinate systems with large coverage.

This update not only provides users with a competitive edge by enabling deliverables with higher accuracy and quality but also translates into significant cost savings. The need for rework and manual corrections is drastically reduced, making the entire process more efficient.

Comprehensive LAS and LAZ support of PDRF and ExtraBytes

Inpho now supports PDRF and ExtraBytes throughout the entire workflow, ensuring users can import, export, edit, process and transform data without loss or compromise.

Sensitive data is safeguarded at every stage, with the highest security and integrity. Users can leverage the latest sensor technology and seamlessly integrate it with Inpho. This forward-thinking approach protects investments in both software and hardware, enabling easy adaptation to future advancements.

Streamlined operations result in a simplified workflow, reducing the need for workarounds or external tools, saving time and minimizing errors — ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Inspection and construction opportunities with improved data sets

Improved reconstruction quality and runtime for data sets containing thin structures, like power lines, railings and masts, allows for cleaner, better results for inspection workflows, especially for complex entities documented with ample redundancy. This opens up new market areas, such as inspection, construction and complex structure projects, enabling  high-quality results that keep you competitive.

Mesh conversion processes are enhanced by the delivery of an optimized color adjustment  as well as faster mesh conversion speed for optimized processing.

Other enhancements

The latest release includes several enhancements to improve performance and user experience. Memory consumption for MATCH-3DX has been reduced, allowing for the processing of larger projects without disc swapping. Statistical computation output has been improved with additional image residuals, selective listing of stereo pairs and enhanced summary lines. The software now generates meshes compatible with 3D Tiles 1.1 and improves OBJ mesh compatibility with third-party applications.

For expanded user ease of use, the Spanish user interface has been revised, with added translations. The internal image library has been updated for better handling of corrupt images. Additionally, the DJI Matrice 30 (M30T) camera has been added to the sensor database, enabling automatic creation when importing images.
