3 ways to engage with Trimble at the 2024 Esri User Conference

Trimble is set to showcase the full spectrum of its field data capture and asset lifecycle management solutions during the 2024 Esri User Conference July 15-19 in San Diego.

The Trimble-Esri partnership is stronger than ever this year, with advanced positioning and productivity solutions integrating seamlessly with advanced Esri-powered field operations.

This year Trimble Geospatial and Trimble Cityworks specialists will join forces in one large booth to demonstrate field data capture and asset lifecycle management solutions that deliver the right data at the right time for the right decision. This powerful combination enables connected field-to-office-to-field workflows and data-informed management across the asset lifecycle for better ROI.

In sessions and talks at the booth theater, attendees can learn about use cases for the newly released Trimble Unity, an end-to-end asset lifecycle management software suite leveraging GIS-centric data. Trimble Unity is designed to support the needs of asset owners for capital program and infrastructure management, whether a department of transportation (DOT) leveraging mobile mapping systems and AI for pavement analysis, a water utility developing a robust GIS model for preventive maintenance, or a city using GIS technologies to ensure safe excavation practices for infrastructure maintenance.

Esri UC attendees can engage with Trimble during the conference three main ways:

#1 — One-on-One Discussions

The best way to learn about Trimble products and services is to visit our booth #1227 staffed with knowledgeable team members eager to hear about your applications and workflows and discuss how Trimble can support you.

Survey and Mapping

Esri UC attendees can see demonstrations of our latest surveying and mapping solutions for efficient and accurate data capture in a wide range of industries and applications—including GNSS, augmented reality, laser scanning and mobile mapping.

Attendees can:

  • be among the first to experience the Trimble R980, the new high-end GNSS system cementing Trimble's leadership position in GNSS technology, part of a portfolio of solutions serving a variety of survey and mapping needs;
  • see Trimble SiteVision augmented reality system in action;
  • get hands on the versatile and cost-effective TDC6 field data collector, which is compatible with Trimble’s GNSS portfolio, including the Trimble Catalyst positioning service with Trimble DA2 GNSS receiver, as well as ArcGIS Field Maps, Esri’s flagship mobile software.

Visitors can also dive into a variety of surveying, mapping and GIS software solutions enabling streamlined and efficient field-to-office workflows, including:

  • TerraFlex/Terra Office software, which provides intuitive field data capture with high-accuracy GNSS positioning, and streamlines and enables interoperability with ArcGIS Pro; and,
  • Trimble Business Center (TBC) and its most recent updates for interoperability with Esri ArcGIS, including support for composite geometry, curves, basic alignments. TBC users can now filter selections for attributes and object types, and export feature definitions and schema to a geodatabase.

Asset Lifecycle Management

The booth team is excited to share details on the recently announced Trimble Unity — the new asset lifecycle management software suite—enabling owners of capital projects and public infrastructure to efficiently plan, design, build, operate and maintain their assets using centralized data and connected digital workflows.

Trimble Unity unifies and extends Trimble’s best-of-breed point solutions to provide end-to-end asset lifecycle management capabilities that help owners improve outcomes while lowering the total cost of asset ownership. It creates access to relevant data across the entire asset lifecycle, helping owners and their collaborators make better-informed decisions. This unified, holistic approach helps teams optimize their processes and achieve better results throughout the asset’s lifespan. Additionally, it helps ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
