The latest version of the Trimble Sentinel mobile application, version 1.3.0, was released in June 2023. You can now create groups of devices, save devices as "Favorites," and take advantage of general user interface improvements.

Trimble Sentinel is the easy way to track total stations using your mobile device in real time. It is the safety net to ensure you never lose sight of your instruments with an easy-to-use app. It consists of:

  • Device tracking hardware module: The Sentinel tracking module is installed inside the total station by an authorized Trimble Service Provider.
  • Data subscription: Get cellular coverage that delivers worldwide communication with the device tracking hardware module.
  • Trimble Sentinel mobile application: A flexible mobile application for iOS and Android operating systems that provides in-field access to reporting location, device settings, impact and geofence notifications for the instruments.
