GNSS systems

Integrated and modular GNSS systems for surveying and mapping.

Trimble solutions enable surveyors and GIS professionals with reliable, innovative GNSS solutions that meet their distinct requirements. Trimble sets the standard with positioning technologies such as Trimble ProPoint GNSS engine to survey challenging environments and Trimble Inertial Platform (TIP) to measure points while the survey pole is tilted.

The Trimble R980, Trimble R12i, Trimble R12, Trimble R10-2, Trimble R780, Trimble R750, and Trimble R580 GNSS receivers all come with Trimble ProPoint technology for increased performance in challenging GNSS environments, including close proximity to trees and in urban environments.

The Trimble Catalyst DA2 GNSS system also features Trimble ProPoint technology.

Is it possible to customize the options on Trimble GNSS receivers?
collapse icon

All currently-shipping Trimble Geospatial GNSS receiver models are available with some level of customization. In general, receivers are sold with configurations corresponding to a particular use case—such as Base & Rover, Rover-only, or Base-only—which can be upgraded as your needs evolve. Please contact your local Trimble Distribution Partner for product-specific information.

Other products like the Trimble R750 and the Trimble R780 are designed to be more customizable based on a diverse range of applications. You can customize the options you need, such as constellations or dual/triple frequency tracking.

Which Trimble GNSS receiver models support Trimble RTX corrections?
collapse icon

All currently-shipping Trimble Geospatial GNSS receiver models support Trimble RTX corrections, both via L-band (satellite) broadcast and over the internet. Trimble R980, Trimble R12i, Trimble R780, Trimble R580 and Trimble R750 receivers come with a subscription for CenterPoint® RTX correction service ACTIVATED and READY TO USE for the first 12 months. At the end of the 12-month period, you have the option to renew the subscription on an annual basis for continued access.

Which GNSS constellations and signals are supported by Trimble GNSS receivers?
collapse icon

Currently available Trimble Geospatial GNSS receiver models are capable of tracking all GNSS constellations and SBAS.

The only signal not currently supported by Trimble Geospatial GNSS receivers is NavIC S-Band.

Which Trimble GNSS receiver models can be employed as base stations?
collapse icon

All Trimble Geospatial GNSS receiver models available today from your local Distribution Partner are capable of operating as a base station except for the Trimble R580 and the Trimble Catalyst DA2.
